M.Sc.
Speech-Language Pathologist,
Billie-Tanisha Moar completed her studies at Université Laval. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, obtained in May 2023, as well as a master’s degree in speech-language pathology, completed in July 2025.
From an early age, she has been very committed to the well-being of others, which naturally led her toward a helping profession. Even before beginning her university studies to become a speech-language pathologist, Billie-Tanisha had been involved in the healthcare network for several years. A member of the Atikamekw Nation, she is greatly aware of diverse cultural realities and particularly sensitive to them.
Billie-Tanisha Moar enjoys working with clients of all ages. Her fields of interest are wide-ranging, including fluency disorders, oromyofunctional disorders (OMDs), oral and written language difficulties, post-stroke rehabilitation, neurodegenerative disorders, and voice therapy. She also enjoys working with First Nations communities. True to her roots, she maintains a deep attachment to her nation, which supported her throughout her academic journey.
