\nSpeech-language pathologist,[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=”font16 regular roboto white padding40left paddR45 lineheight22″]Daphn\u00e9 completed a master\u2019s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Universit\u00e9 Laval in 2018. She completed an internship at the Readaptation Center with children and adults living with intellectual disability and\/or autism spectrum disorder. She initially worked with preschool age children at the CIUSSS Capitale-Nationale and in private clinics. She has experience using different intervention approaches with those clienteles in multiple contexts. Additionally, she offered coaching and training to communication partners and workers. Daphn\u00e9 also specialized in working with people living with orofacial myofunctional disorder to help them use adequate swallowing and articulation motor patterns. Her undergraduate degree in psychoeducation at Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Trois-Rivi\u00e8res also enabled her to work as a special education technician in daycare centres and elementary schools. Those work experiences help her understand the special needs of families and their reality in daycares and at school.<\/p>\n
