Soo Min has a strong interest in social and human relationships. She has worked as an educator in a community organization and as a psychosocial worker at the Centre de Pédiatrie Sociale in Ville Saint-Laurent, on the island of Montreal.
Passionate about research, she has participated in several research projects. Notably, she served as a research assistant in the Phonetic Sciences Laboratory at the Université de Montréal and as a research assistant in Speech (neuromotor) at Université Laval.
As a clinical speech-language pathologist, Soo Min worked at the IRDPQ (Institut de réadaptation en déficience physique de Québec) with adult clients in rehabilitation (post-stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, post-surgery brain tumors, multiple sclerosis, etc.). To better serve individuals living with Parkinson’s disease, Soo Min obtained her Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) certification in 2021.
