The Centre Mosaïque de Québec is a socially responsible organisation that is proud to invest in its community. Through workshops for families, screenings in French and English and collaborations with community partners, the Centre seeks to keep community members supported in all aspects of communication and language abilities.

Daphné Blanchette Vézina
M.Sc.
Speech-language pathologist,
Daphné completed a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Université Laval in 2018. She completed an internship at the Readaptation Center with children and adults living with intellectual disability and/or autism spectrum disorder. She initially worked with preschool age children at the CIUSSS Capitale-Nationale and in private clinics. She has experience using different intervention approaches with those clienteles in multiple contexts. Additionally, she offered coaching and training to communication partners and workers. Daphné also specialized in working with people living with orofacial myofunctional disorder to help them use adequate swallowing and articulation motor patterns. Her undergraduate degree in psychoeducation at Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières also enabled her to work as a special education technician in daycare centres and elementary schools. Those work experiences help her understand the special needs of families and their reality in daycares and at school.
Daphné is a caring professional that wants to support families as much as possible to help them in social participation contexts.
